In diesem Video sehen wir drei Lusitanohengste bei der Arbeit an der Tourinha (Stierattrappe). Im ersten Abschnitt können wir den Lusitanohengst Cisne beobachten, wie er mit seiner Reiterin Galopp-Pirouetten vor der „Stierattrappe“ vollführt. Die Technik in den rasanten Pirouetten ist die „opposition from the shoulders to the behind“. Dabei führt der Reiter über den äußeren Zügel in Außenstellung und den äußeren Schenkel in der Gurttiefe die Vorhand des Pferdes nach innen. Gleichzeitig bringt er mit dem inneren Schenkel die Hinterhand des Pferdes hinter die Vorhand. Dadurch kommt die Vorhand noch schneller in die Richtung, in die sie geführt wird. Gleichzeitig wird die Hinterhand gebeugt und aktiviert. Das Pferd wird in sich gerade und kann so in die Lage versetzt werden, sich in einer enormen Geschwindigkeit zu drehen. Mit dieser Technik ist es möglich, schnelle Pirouetten zu drehen und enge Volten zügig zu reiten. Man kann dies gut beobachten, wenn alle drei Pferde hintereinander in die Volten gehen. Diese Reaktivität der Pferde ist im tatsächlichen Stierkampf eine überlebenswichtige Maßnahme für Pferd und Reiter.
In this video, we see three Lusitano stallions working with the Tourinha (dummy bull). In the first section, we can observe the Lusitano stallion Cisne, performing gallop pirouettes in front of the „bull.“ The technique in these rapid pirouettes is „opposition from the shoulders to the behind.“ The rider guides the horse’s forehand inward using the outer rein in an outward position and the outer leg at the girth depth. Simultaneously, with the inner leg, the rider moves the hindquarters of the horse behind the forehand. This enables the forehand to turn even faster in the directed direction, while the hindquarters are bent and activated. The horse becomes straight within itself, allowing it to spin at an incredible speed. With this technique, it is possible to execute quick pirouettes and ride tight turns swiftly. This can be well observed when all three horses go into the turns one after the other. This reactivity of the horses is a crucial measure for both horse and rider in actual bullfighting scenarios.
