Eine besondere Ehre ist es immer, Christina Wunderlich und ihren Pferden – hier der Lusitano Hengst Jaguar aus der Zucht von Manuel Jorge de Oliveira – zu beobachten. Die Pferde scheinen all die schwierigen Übungen in einer völligen Leichtigkeit zu bewältigen, und dazu benötigt es konsequentes Training und eine hohe Koordinationsfähigkeit des Reiters. Everything starts in the walk, alles beginnt mit dem Schritt. Wenn die Schrittarbeit nicht so sorgfältig wie hier Beachtung erhält wird es in jeder anderen Gang nicht wirklich funktionieren. Es ist wichtig, dem Pferd Zeit zu lassen und es gibt kein schonenderes Aufwärmen aller Gelenke und Muskeln. Es braucht kein stundenlanges Traben im Kreis, viel wichtiger ist es, die Koordination des Pferdes zu steigern, seine Beweglichkeit zu erhöhen, die Weichheit der Übergänge zu überprüfen und die Durchlässigkeit jeden Tag herzustellen.

It is always a special honor to watch Christina Wunderlich and her horses – here the Lusitano stallion Jaguar breader is Manuel Jorge de Oliveira. The horses seem to master all the difficult exercises with complete ease, and this requires consistent training and a high level of coordination on the part of the rider.
